清明放假前的最后一个星期一。虽然也是星期一，但今天确实有些不一样的活动hhh。毕竟也是开始学雅思了嘛，所以早上水课的时间就没有完全拿来看手机，大部分时间都是拿来把今天打卡的内容给完成。完成了背单词，三个翻译，一个长难句分析。日复一日，最近都是如此。之前也说过，这确实给我带来了许多充实感和方向感。我用这些能列出1234的具体的事情填满我的生活，那水课的时间也就不水了。就连我的抖音也占据了许多一部分的雅思学习hhh，我也经常看一些口语的语料，看一些回答的思路。不管效果怎样，总是比没有好吧。至少听着听着，总是会潜移默化一些逻辑吧。

下午是英语课，但是今天是我展示。想了很久，也焦虑了很久。但是还是总会到我的。其实准备已经做得很充分了。只不过心里还是有点障碍。一些来自“以前没做过”的障碍。但是其实我的准备是充足的。I can handle it.只不过还是有点些许不自信。展示的时候还是有点紧张，但是总体上还不错。那么也终于结束了一个一直被我挂念的事情。

The last Monday before the Qingming Festival holiday. Even though it’s still a Monday, some pretty different stuff went down today lol.

Since I’ve started studying for the IELTS, I didn’t spend the whole time scrolling on my phone during my morning filler classes. Instead, I used most of that time to knock out my daily check-in tasks. I got through my vocabulary memorization, three translation exercises, and one long complex sentence breakdown. That’s been my daily routine lately, day in and day out. Like I’ve said before, this has really given me such a strong sense of fulfillment and direction. When I fill my days with these concrete, listable tasks, even those filler classes don’t feel like a waste of time anymore. Hell, even my Douyin feed is now mostly IELTS study content lol. I’m always watching clips of speaking test materials and answer frameworks. No matter how effective it actually is, it’s gotta be better than doing nothing, right? At least if I keep listening, some of that logic will sink in subconsciously.

Then in the afternoon, I had my English class, and today was my turn to give the presentation. I’ve been overthinking and stressing about this for so long, but the moment finally came either way. I’d actually done more than enough prep work. I just had this mental block, you know? The kind that comes from never having done something like this before. Logically I knew I was fully prepared, that I could handle it. I just had this little bit of self-doubt hanging around. I was still a bit nervous during the presentation, but overall it went pretty well. And with that, I can finally cross this thing that’s been weighing on my mind off my to-do list.
